Afterschool ProgramOffered throughout the year, YWCA Afterschool gives children a transition from the school day with fun programs that keep them motivated. We encourage kids’ independence, resourcefulness and responsibility as they participate in academic enrichment, games, multicultural activities, arts and crafts, outdoor and indoor play, science projects, and much more. We feature the highly effective direct instruction model for all homework assistance and computer instruction. Join us for affordable afterschool in a friendly urban setting at our Hargett Street location downtown and at Powell Elementary.
