Creative Tribute to DiversityEach year we join with Meredith College to celebrate the spirit of inclusiveness, inviting area students of all ages to create artistic tributes to the differences in all of us. We work closely with art teachers in area schools to promote this exhibit so youth can celebrate what diversity means to them. The YWCA and Meredith College unite to establish programs where we can work at a grassroots level to improve race relations in our community. Another example of how the YWCA actively promotes peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people. |
