YWCA After School Programs

Grades K-8
Traditional after school programs offer a change from the school day, keep children motivated and encourage independence, resourcefulness and responsibility. Activities include games, multi-cultural activities, arts and crafts, homework help, academic enrichment, outdoor and indoor play, science projects, drama, personal enrichment, and a daily snack.
Academic Enrichment program is positive, engaging, and diverse and builds on our commitment to "peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people." Activities include participation in the highly effective and proven direct instruction model, homework assistance, computer instruction, and a nutritious snack each day.

YWCA Summer Day Camp

This summer the YWCA presents "The Summer of Wonder". Each week your children will engage in exciting weather related activities, events, and field trips that show the many effects that the weather has on nature, animals, geography, and cultures.
Academic Enrichment
June 16-July 25
Grades K-5
7:30 am - 6:00 pm - M-F
Do you want your children to get ahead of the class this year? Then sign up for the Academic Enrichment Camp. This camp combines all the activities of our Traditional Summer Camp along with a 3 hour instructional program focusing on reading and math that will help your child(ren) excel this school year.

Grades 3-5

Attention all future scientists and engineers! Come enjoy our fun, hands-on science, engineering, and technology activities. Campers will participate in individual and small-team design projects that will enhance their knowledge of physics, computer programming and engineering.

Residential Camp
This camp offers an experience of a lifetime! A residential camp held on the historic campus of Peace College. Girls ages 12-17 will participate in activities that will promote physical and financial fitness, while experiencing dorm and college life. All students will participate in hands-on life skills training, team-building exercises, classroom activities and field trips that will equip them for a successful future. Come join in the FUN!
