YWCA After School Programs
August 25, 2009 - June, 2010
Grades K-8
Traditional after school programs offer a change from the school day, keep children motivated and encourage independence, resourcefulness and responsibility. Activities include games, multi-cultural activities, arts and crafts, homework help, academic enrichment, outdoor and indoor play, science projects, drama, personal enrichment, and a daily snack.

Academic Enrichment program is positive, engaging, and diverse and builds on our commitment to "peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people." Activities include participation in the highly effective and proven direct instruction model, homework assistance, computer instruction, and a nutritious snack each day.

YWCA Summer Day Camp
June 17 - Aug 14
Grades K-5
7:30 am - 6:00 pm - M-F
This summer the YWCA presents the ultimate investigation experience. Throughout the course of camp, boys and girls will take part in a variety of "secret agent" training activities, learning how to uncover and explore the many possibilities of art, culture, science, math, sports, wellness, nutrition and more. Camp also includes weekly field trips, swimming and on-site instructional activities, all of which are included in the Summer Day Camp fee.

Camp SETech
July 13 - July 31
Grades 3-5
7:30 am - 6:00 pm - M-F
Attention all future scientists and engineers! Come enjoy our fun, hands-on science, engineering, and technology activities. Campers will participate in individual and small-team design projects that will enhance their knowledge of physics, computer programming and engineering.

Residential Camp
This camp offers an experience of a lifetime! A residential camp held on the historic campus of Peace College. Girls ages 12-17 will participate in activities that will promote physical and financial fitness, while experiencing dorm and college life. All students will participate in hands-on life skills training, team-building exercises, classroom activities and field trips that will equip them for a successful future. Come join in the FUN!
